Managing Director and an original founder of Morgan IAT, Sue oversees the direction of the company and identifies key strategic projects and products. Having worked with many inventors, Sue recognised the difficulty in securing R&D funding for new ideas and as a result, set aside up to 20% of turnover to fund ideas from individuals, universities and start-ups to a point where they become commercially viable.
Sue is passionate about helping young innovators and spearheaded the introduction of a graduate trainee programme to give graduates experience in a variety of commercial environments, many of whom are now working for the company. She also championed apprenticeships and has been an active supporter of the EHDC Apprenticeship Scheme.
Sue was co-opted to help with the formation of Wessex Academic Health & Science Network and was a member of the bid panel in January 2013. She continues to actively support the work of the ASHN.
