MIAT are looking for enthusiastic and competent Admin and Marketing Assistant Apprentices. MIAT design, develop and manufacture innovative products for the medical and commercial industries. We do R&D, Manufacturing and Commercialisation. Our passion for innovation is at the heart of why we do what we do. Our 5-stage process covers market research, design, specification, costs, client involvement, product development and manufacture.
As an Admin Assistant with us candidates will need to be able to be self motivated, have good analytical skills and work to deadlines. They will be responsible for the following Administration duties: being present at reception, filing & archiving, monitoring office supplies, making event bookings and light cleaning to comply with Covid. They will also be involved in some Finance duties such as: invoice checking, scanning and filing records, entering POs / invoices on the system and assisting the Finance Manager with duties as required.
For the Marketing Assistant role they will also need to be self motivated, have good analytical skills and work to deadlines. And they will have to be able to do the following Marketing duties: organising and writing company social media / website updates, assisting with PR roles, conducting market research for new projects, attending and organising networking events (in person and online) and working with the CEO & Business Development Manager on new projects/ contracts as required. They may also be required to assist with the Admin jobs listed above from time to time.
To qualify you need 16+, Living in England and not in full time education.
