Futuristic gaming and rehabilitation glove, plus more at Nucleus 2016
A Hampshire company and double Queen’s Award for Enterprise winner, Morgan Innovation & Technology will show three state-of-the-art new products in the MedTech Zone, at Nucleus 2016 on 21st September, at the University of Southampton Science Park: hantsnucleus.co.uk.

Haptics technology mimics the sense of touch by applying feedback stimuli, such as compression, friction, and vibration forces. The technology could have several applications for immersive virtual environments, but also in sensory rehabilitation, such as stroke recovery.
Also on display will be Salurate, a patented pre-eclampsia screening test that will aid in the early diagnosis of the disease.
The Salurate concept involves the analysis of salivary uric acid, which is cheap, simple, and non-invasive. A prototype will be on show, with senior spokespeople from Morgan IAT available to tell you about the product. Morgan IAT is in the process of running a multi-centre clinical trial on Salurate. The company is also working on developing and refining the equipment and testing process, for potential adoption by the NHS.
